Chandler House Fire: Firefighter Injured, Dog Escapes And Is Missing

The roof collapsed. A firefighter suffered minor injuries. A dog escaped and is missing. That was the scene Saturday at a home fire in the area of Pecos Road and 124th Street in Chandler.

Firefighters were able to respond quickly since the home is about a block from the station. They were able to quickly knock the fire down though part of the roof collapsed.

The homeowner suffered minor smoke inhalation and is expected to be fine. (Subscribe to local news alerts on Patch).

One firefighter had a minor burn on his wrist.

No word yet on the cause of the fire.
