Emma Stone Couldn't Make The Prom, But She Sent Presents
Jacob Saudenmaier gave it a shot and made a video asking Stone to the prom. She couldn't make it but sent a corsage and boutonniere.
It's like they say, you have to be in it to win it. And while Jacob Staudenmaier didn't get the prize he was hoping for — actress Emma Stone for his prom date — he definitely ended up a winner. Stone sent along more than her regrets.
Staudenmaier, a student at Arcadia High School, made a "promposal" for Stone in which he recreated the opening scene of "La La Land."

Stone said she couldn't make it because she's in London working. She did, however, send him a present. Stone sent a corsage and boutonniere for Staudemaier and his date along with a note. (Subscribe to local news alerts on Patch).
