McCain On Comey Questioning: No More Staying Up To Watch Diamondbacks
"Maybe going forward I shouldn't stay up late watching the Diamondbacks night games," McCain said.

Sen. John McCain may not be a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, but he practically stole the show at its hearing Thursday where former FBI Director James Comey was questioned. McCain, the chairman of the Armed Services Committee, was invited to participate and was the last senator to question Comey.
His line of questioning left many shaking their heads, including Comey and McCain himself. McCain even referred to the former FBI director as "President Comey."
At one point, Comey conceded that he was confused by McCain's questioning.

McCain was trying to draw some sort of comparison between the probes of President Trump and Hillary Clinton.
"In the case of Hillary Clinton, you made the statement that there wasn't sufficient evidence to bring a suit against her, although it had been very careless in their behavior, but you did reach a conclusion in that case that it was not necessary to further pursue her," he said at the beginning of his time.

"Yet at the same time, in the case of Mr. Comey, you said that there was not enough information to make a conclusion. Tell me the difference between your conclusion as far as former Secretary Clinton is concerned, and Mr. Trump.” (Subscribe to local news alerts on Patch).
McCain seemed confused at times, unclear that the probe into Clinton had been concluded last year.
"You're going to have to help me out," McCain said at one point.
The whole exchange left Twitter's head spinning.
The social media service said McCain's questioning was the most tweeted about moment of the morning.

McCain, for his part, tried to laugh the moment off, saying he needs to not stay up late and watch Arizona Diamondbacks games.
