Poston Butte HS Yearbook Flap: School Offers Refunds
"The oversight by the school staff to properly review and edit the yearbook is unacceptable," Principal Steve Tannenbaum emailed parents.

Poston Butte High School is offering refunds for the yearbooks which went out filled with inappropriate comments. The comments, which included references to drugs and sex, have also led to the teacher who oversaw the process to be reassigned.
In an email to parents, principal Steve Tannenbaum apologized and said they are making changes so a similar situation doesn't happen again.
"The oversight by the school staff to properly review and edit the yearbook is unacceptable and the school is working to remedy the situation," he wrote. "The yearbook has, as of now, been relieved of all yearbook duties and will be replaced by another sponsor for the next school year.

Tannenbaum told parents that they can ask for a full refund - all they have to do is being the book to the front office on Friday, May 26.
Or, he said, they can bring the book to the front office that day and ask that the comments be covered with adhesive stickers.
