Tempe Police Officer Stabbed, Suspect Dead

The officer was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A Tempe police officer shot and killed a man Tuesday morning after the man stabbed a fellow officer. It happened after the man crashed into a parked car near Rural Road and Southern Avenue around 7 a.m..

The suspect and an officer got into a fight and the officer was stabbed.

The second officer fired, striking the suspect.
