Tucson-Area Teacher Busted On Fed Child Porn Charges
Prosecutors say that Ryan Bono, a middle school teacher, is charged with one count of distributing child pornography.

A Tucson-area middle school teacher is under arrest, charged with using his computer to download and share video files showing minors engaging in sexual conduct. Ryan Bono, 36, of Oro Valley, is charged with one count of distributing child pornography.

Prosecutors say that Bono gave child pornography to an undercover agent. The video showed a naked, underage boy engaging in sexually explicit activity.

They found more videos on of the computers recovered from Bono's home, according to officials with Immigration and Custom's Enforcement, which conducted the investigation.
Bono, who is a youth soccer coach as well as a language arts teacher at the Math and Sciences Academy - a charter school in Tucson, is being held in federal custody without bail. He's due back in court on Friday.

Officials say that while the investigation is preliminary, there's no indication that any of the kids that were taught or coached by Bono were victims.

If Bono is convicted of distributing child pornography, he faces up to 20 years in federal prison.
