Christian was found with second and third degree burns along with bruising to his back, torso, extremities, neck, and head. He was flown to Phoenix Children's Hospital in extremely critical condition.
Police believe that the boy suffered the injuries at the home while he was bound and restrained, unable to protect himself, unable to flee.
In addition to the murder charges, Moreno and Terry face charges of child abuse and aggravated assault.
The couple were having a yard sale at their home the day that the boy was discovered and police would like anyone who was there to call 928-636-4223.
