• Trump's Border Wall Construction Destroys 6,500-Year-Old Arizona Geoglyph (newsbreak.com) — A newly dated 6,500- to 7,300-year-old geoglyph just west of Ajo in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge was partly destroyed by border wall construction this spring. Federal officials say the damage to the fish-shaped Las Playas Intaglio was inadvertent, while conservation advocates and Indigenous groups call the loss irreparable and are pressing for stronger protections at other sacred desert sites.
