• Armin "Skip" Plisch - Vilas County News-Review (vcnewsreview.com) — Maricopa residents are mourning Armin "Skip" Plisch, a 90-year-old Army veteran and retired truck driver who made his home in Maricopa after years in Wisconsin. He's remembered for his quiet strength, love of the outdoors, and deep devotion to family, including a son and daughter-in-law who live in Maricopa, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
   

• Arizona Supreme Court nixes 2 school voucher ballot measures (knau.org) — Arizona's high court has effectively knocked a major school voucher reform measure, Prop. 212, off the ballot, leaving final signature math to a Maricopa County Superior Court judge but with both sides agreeing it fell short. The decision keeps the current Empowerment Scholarship Account program in place for now, while voucher supporters and public-school advocates prepare for the next political and legal battles over how ESA money is overseen.
