• 'Esto es Nuestro Nogales': Residents gather to discuss downtown, port expansion (tncontentexchange.com) — Residents in nearby Nogales are organizing to demand a stronger voice on two massive projects that could affect Patagonia as well: a $2 billion DeConcini Port overhaul and a $3.3 billion mine planned near town. At a packed community meeting, locals launched the Nuestro Nogales coalition, voicing worries about displacement, safety, and being excluded from decisions, and pledged to meet monthly to push for more input.
