- Yesterday during the 10th annual ABC15 Telethon, ABC15, and the community came together and raised $429,592 for Phoenix Children's. All the proceeds will be going towards "the hospital's pediatric care, programs, and services that Phoenix Children's has provided to patients and their families for over 35 years." - A local three-year-old is in "extremely critical condition" after being pulled from a backyard pool. According to reports, the family of the boy found him unresponsive and face down in the pool near 56th Street and Thunderbird Road yesterday afternoon. When crews arrived on the scene, the family was performing CPR on the child. Then, the boy was taken to the hospital for further assistance. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
