(Patch Media)

Morning, everybody! Dominique-Noelle Rafael here with your Thursday edition of the Phoenix Daily, filled with all the local information you need to know right now. Here's the lowdown.

First, today's weather:

Hot with plenty of sun. High: 111 Low: 85.

📢 I'm looking for business owners and marketers in Phoenix who want to build awareness, connect with customers and increase sales.

I have a limited number of sponsorships available to introduce our Phoenix Daily readers to local businesses they need to know about. If that's you, then I invite you to learn more and secure your spot now.

Here are the top 3 stories today in Phoenix:

  1. Two people are dead following an apparent electrocution in Phoenix. Phoenix Fire Department crews say the incident occurred Wednesday morning when the victims came into contact with ground wires by accident. As of that afternoon, power had been temporarily shut off in the area. (Phoenix Patch)
  2. A man who allegedly assaulted an Uber driver last weekend has been charged after turning himself in. 38-year-old Jason Ackley was caught on a dash camera video attacking the driver, Jonathan Carroll, after Carroll asked the passenger to leave the vehicle. The incident occurred on Baseline Road near 51st Avenue. (Arizona's Family)
  3. Three more YogaSix studios are coming soon to the Phoenix area. The new locations will nearly double the boutique yoga brand's presence in the local market, where four studios currently operate. The new locations are expected to open their doors in the next couple of years. (AZ Big Media)
