2 Injured In Small Plane Crash Near Glendale Airport

GLENDALE, AZ — Two men walked away with only minor injuries after the small plane they were operating crashed in a field north of the Glendale Municipal Airport on Saturday.

The Glendale Fire Department confirmed the crash on Twitter. According to an ABC 15 report, the plane went down near Loop 101 and Glendale Avenue.

Photos from the scene show the plane with minor damage. Fire officials said the plane's occupants were treated at the scene for minor injuries and refused transport to the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
