34-Year-Old Woman Dies In Phoenix After Being Struck By Train
Ciara Chacon died Thursday after being hit by a train in the area of 2700 West Thomas Road. Police said she was distracted by a fight.
PHOENIX, AZ —A 34-year-old woman was killed Thursday in Phoenix after being struck by a train, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Ciara Chacon died at the scene after being involved in the collision at around 5:45 p.m. in the area of 2700 West Thomas Road, police said.
According to authorities, Chacon was walking near the train tracks when she became distracted by a fight taking place nearby. At that point, she stepped back onto the tracks and was hit by the train.
