- Seven people were shot and killed in Phoenix over Memorial Day Weekend. - City officials have approved an agreement with Concord Willshire Capital LLC for the $1 billion redevelopments of Metrocenter Mall. The project will see the nearly 50-year-old mall revitalized to include 2,800 multifamily units, 383,000 square feet of retail and commercial space, a park, and more. According to the agreement, Concord will build and pay for the construction of parking garages throughout the site and be reimbursed by the city. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
- A water main break flooded a downtown Phoenix roadway early yesterday morning. The water covered McKinley Street between 3rd and 4th streets, restricting traffic in the area.
