🌱 $8 Million In 'Resiliency Grants' + Restaurant Burglary

Here are the top three stories in Phoenix today:
- Funded by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the PHXbizGrants program is offering $8 million in "resiliency grants" to micro and small businesses in Phoenix. This help comes at the perfect time, as ongoing staffing shortages and inflation are causing severe financial strain on businesses of all sorts and sizes. (Arizona's Family)
- A burglar was caught on at The Sicilian Butcher in Phoenix on Monday. Surveillance shows a dark car with a lighter hood pulling up to the restaurant, where the burglar broke in and stole a safe full of cash. The restaurant owners are asking anyone with information to come forward. (Arizona's Family)
- Phoenix police are searching for the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened early Friday morning. The crash took place near 12th Street and Orangewood Avenue. The victim, 54-year-old Stanley Fischer, was riding his electric bike fell over while trying to cross 12th Street. He was then reportedly struck by a red coupe heading northbound and later died at the hospital. (FOX 10 News Phoenix)
