PHOENIX, AZ — Pool season is back in Phoenix.
All 23 city pools open Saturday, May 23, just in time for Memorial Day weekend, the Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department announced.
Recreational open swim, swimming lessons and other aquatic programs will be available throughout the summer.
Admission stays affordable: adults pay $3 per session, seniors 60 and older pay $1, and children 17 and under swim free at select pools through the Kool Kids program.

The pool opening kicks off what's shaping up to be a busy summer for Phoenix Parks and Recreation. The city recently celebrated the grand opening of the South Mountain Activity Complex, passed a new parks ordinance and announced its annual fire ban in city preserves.
