PHOENIX, AZ — Looking for work? Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is giving job seekers a chance to meet directly with employers hiring for positions ranging from customer service and retail to driving, security and airport operations.
The Phoenix Sky Harbor Job Fair is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the 44th Street PHX Sky Train Station near 44th and Washington streets.
No registration is required. Job seekers can stop by during the three-hour event to meet with participating airport employers and learn about available positions.
Jobs listed for the fair include passenger assistants, customer service representatives, dispatchers, drivers, ramp service workers, cabin cleaners, warehouse agents, cooks, cashiers and sales associates.
Participating employers include American Airlines, ABM, Compass Group, Hudson Group, Sodexo, Trego-Dugan Aviation and Worldwide Flight Services, along with businesses in airport retail, restaurants and hospitality.
The list of employers and available positions may change before the event.
Benefits vary by employer, but participating companies may offer health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plans, paid time off, tuition assistance, employee meals, free parking, life insurance, retention bonuses, sign-on bonuses and flight benefits.
The hiring event comes as Arizona's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate rose to 4.9% in June 2026, up from 4.8% in May, according to state employment data. Arizona employment increased by 29,700 jobs from June 2025 to June 2026.
Nationally, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 4.2% in June from 4.3% in May.
The job fair will be held at the 44th Street PHX Sky Train Station, which is accessible by Valley Metro Rail and bus service. Parking also will be available.
Sky Harbor holds monthly job fairs to connect job seekers with careers in aviation, airlines, food service, retail and airport support.
