Gameday Men’s Health Chandler Names Christi Nance as New Clinic Director

Gameday Men's Health Chandler has named nurse practitioner Christi Nance as its new clinic director, bringing an extensive background in emergency medicine, hospital leadership and hormone health to the Chandler clinic.

Nance began her nursing career in 2008 and later served as a flight nurse in the U.S. Air Force. Additionally, she worked as the manager of the Emergency Department at Providence Health and Services in Spokane, WA and served as Chief Nursing Officer at Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls, ID. However, her interest in hormone health began when her husband, who works in law enforcement, experienced persistent fatigue, weight gain and loss of muscle despite exercising.

After he began testosterone replacement therapy, Nance saw significant changes in his body's composition, strength and overall well-being. The experience motivated her to attend several intensive conferences and training programs focused on hormones and their effect on daily health.

"I got interested in this work through my husband's journey and ultimately my own journey with hormones, realizing how much they affect daily life," said Nance. "It led me to dig deeper and focus on treating the root cause rather than simply treating symptoms. That is ultimately why I am so passionate about this field."

As clinic director, Nance will help patients better understand how hormone health may influence energy, weight, muscle mass and everyday performance. She will also support Gameday Men's Health Chandler's mission of providing personalized care in an environment designed to make men feel comfortable discussing health concerns.
