Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council’s Badge Bash Returns Nov. 7, Honors Community Leaders

GSACPC invites adults to experience Girl Scouting at Badge Bash, the council's signature fundraising celebration on Saturday, Nov. 7.

Proceeds from Badge Bash support council experiences for more than 12,000 girls in grades K–12 across central and northern Arizona.

Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC) invites adults to experience Girl Scouting at Badge Bash, the council's signature fundraising celebration, returning Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at The Bob & Renee Parsons Leadership Center for Girls and Women at Camp South Mountain in Phoenix.

Badge Bash is an adult-only (21+) evening that reimagines the GSACPC summer camp experience for grown-ups, offering hands-on activities across the campgrounds like archery, sports and crafts paired with cocktails, bites, a dinner program under the stars and classic s'mores by the fire.

"Adults embrace Girl Scouting adventures for the night at Badge Bash, forming their own troops, choosing legendary camp names and filling their sashes with a collection of custom badges they will earn through activities," said Mary Mitchell, co-CEO of GSACPC. "It's a fun-filled night that brings our community together around our bigger mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place."

Proceeds from Badge Bash support council experiences for more than 12,000 girls in grades K–12 across central and northern Arizona, connecting them with opportunities spanning STEM, outdoors, life skills and entrepreneurship.
From exploring the outdoors and ziplining at overnight camp to building robots and leading sustainable community service projects, Badge Bash supports an array of Girl Scout experiences all year long.

Badge Bash brings together professionals from across business, government, education, nonprofits and other industries for an opportunity to network and enjoy a night centered on engagement and purpose. Guests are encouraged to dress in their best Girl Scout or camp-inspired attire as they compete for the prize of Best Dressed.

During the evening, GSACPC will recognize two community leaders and an organization as recipients of the 2026 Promise Award, honoring their efforts to champion girls and support female leadership in Arizona.

This year's Promise Award honorees are:

Jaque Bethke, Founder & Chief Visionary Officer, JAQUE: Bethke is a Girl Scout alum and founder of Scottsdale-based luxury design and design-build firm JAQUE. Bethke has encouraged girls and women to think boldly about what they can achieve and has built her career around the belief that bold ideas and great design can change how people see themselves.

Vince Kozar, President, Phoenix Mercury & COO, Arena Sports Group: As a leader in professional sports, Kozar has championed equity, belonging and representation, demonstrating how leaders can create opportunities and open doors for others.

Achieve: The Tempe-based organization is being recognized for its commitment to community engagement and inclusive workplace practices that have uplifted the next generation of women leaders.

"Our community powers Girl Scouts to reach their highest potential," said Christina Spicer, co-CEO of GSACPC. "The honorees of the 2026 Promise Award have gone the extra mile, putting their leadership and belief in girls into action to support sustainable growth and create opportunities that show girls what's possible."

Badge Bash channels community support into opportunities for girls to thrive long after the campfire goes out, expanding access to meaningful experiences that help them learn, grow and lead.
