Arizona Water Company (AWC), Arizona’s second largest private supplier of water, is honored by the Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Office for Business Excellence.
The award was presented at the Chamber’s 2025 annual dinner on Friday, January 24. According to the Chamber, the values they look for in honorees include a demonstrated record ofbusiness success and growth, community involvement and leadership, dedication to employees and commitment to customer service.
“Customer service is at the forefront of everything we do at Arizona Water Company, and we are grateful that the Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce is recognizing our employees for their dedication and hard work,” said Fred Schneider, President of AWC. “While many utility companies have opted to move away from forward facing customer service, AWC is proud that itremains committed to providing walk-in customer service for payments, account questions, new services and any other related need a customer may have regarding their water service."

"Being honored by the Chamber is particularly valued by our employees as many of them live and work in Casa Grande and have immense pride in their community,” added Schneider. “Their commitment to their work goes beyond providing quality service to our customers in Casa Grande as they are often actively involved and participate in many community programs and services.”
Many of these AWC staff members have lived in the Casa Grande area for more than 35 years and are members of, participate in, or support local organizations such as the Casa Grande Rotary Club, Pinal County Water Augmentation Authority, the Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce, Pinal Partnership, Pinal Alliance for Economic Growth and the local Boys and Girls Club.

Arizona Water Company also actively supports and participates in many Casa Grande community programs and events such as SAVE IT, a joint integrated water management program that centralizes information on water resources and conservation for the public, and Career Day held by the Casa Grande Unified School District to encourage local youth to consider AWC as a potential career path.
"Whether it’s the annual car show, business expo or the public library Halloween Walk, our employees are there to participate and support community activities and have fun with their friends and neighbors,” said Schneider.
