"I fell in love with two women, and I didn't know I was capable of that," former Indy-car racer Arie Luyendyk said after the premiere.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – The new season of "The Bachelor" is one episode old and already there's a bit of controversy. Scottsdale's Arie Luyendyk, Jr., an Indy-car racer turned realtor, followed up his debut by giving People Magazine a big hint about what's to come.
"I fell in love with two women, and I didn't know I was capable of that," he said. "I've never been in that situation, and it was really hard.
"And they were two very different women and that's what made it even harder."

The season started with an introduction to Luyendyk for viewers who may have missed him five years ago when Emily Maynard broke his heart.
There is then a parade of the 30 women wanting to win the heart of the 36-year-old Luyendyk.
Only five are 30-years-old and older with the oldest being 33.
The producers arrange for several dramatic entrances.
Maquel from Utah arrives in a race car.
Annaliese shows up in a mask with a bag labeled kisses in a nod to the fact that Luyendyk was known as "The Kissing Bandit."
Chelsea, a single mother, plays the mysterious card. She tells Arie there will be plenty of time for him to get to know her.
Bekah, 22-years-old and the youngest of the lot, shows up in a '65 Mustang and tells Arie that it's indicative of her ability to appreciate classic things.
There are also four women named Lauren.
It doesn't take long for tensions to develop – much of it centered around Chelsea.
She decides that Bekah's arrival in her Mustang is indicative of her "loud nature." She also steals time with Arie from one of the other women.
Her efforts pay off.
Arie gives her the first-impression rose.
He then decides who stays and who goes.
Annaliese, Ashley, Becca, Bekah, Bibiana, Brittany, Caroline, Chelsea, Jacqueline, Jenna, Jenny, Kendall, Krystal, Lauren B., Lauren G., Lauren S., Maquel, Marikh, Seinne, Tia, and Valerie will all be there for week two.
"Arie, why'd you do that to me?" Maquel, who received the last rose, said as she walked up to Arie.
And that's week one.
As for who the two women are that Luyendyk falls in love with, viewers will have to wait and see.
