The Bachelor Recap: Arie Cuts The Lauren Pool Down To Two
In a drama-filled episode, Bachelor Arie has the women compete in a demolition derby.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Who knew that there was such a thing as "Bumper Car Trauma?" Apparently, Annaeliese and it provided for a bit of drama in Episode 2 of The Bachelor.
Arie Luyendyk takes 15 of the remaining women to a demolition derby or, as host Chris Harrison calls it, "a Bashelor competition."
Annaliese fesses up quickly – through tears – that she doesn't know if he can do it. As a child years earlier, she had played bumper cars and "everyone kept hitting me" causing her to feel "so alone."

Perhaps not the thing that you want to admit to Arie, a former Indy-car racer and the son of a two-time winner of the Indy 500.
She quickly gets over it and discovers that it can be fun (though she says she won't do it again).

In the end, Seinne outlasts everyone – knocking out Tia in the end – to win some time with Arie.
There was one injury. Brittany suffers whiplash. She gets some extra attention from Arie for her efforts. He gives her a certificate declaring her, "Most Hardcore."
Arie quickly declares that he might be in over his head (jokingly), declaring that while Seinne went to Yale and lived in Italy and Brazil, "I barely graduated high school and worked at Pizza Hut!"
The real drama in the evening is the tension between Krystal and Bibiana. Krystal, who already had a rose from earlier in the evening, kept stealing time with Arie.
When she took time away from Bibiana, Bibiana was less than pleased, telling the camera that if she goes home and Krystal stays, Krystal better sleep with one eye open.
The show started with two quick dates.
Arie takes Becca to get a style session with Rachel Zoe and ends up with several gowns that Arie tells her that she can keep along with earrings and shoes.
She gets a rose.
Arie then took Krystal to his home in Scottsdale including a stop at his parent's home where he meets the more talented race car driver, his dad.
She also gets a rose.
In the end, three people go – Lauren G., Valerie, and Jenny.
That leaves just two Laurens – B and S – down from the original four.
See ya next week when Maquel, Jacqueline, Bekah, Jenna, Chelsea, Lauren S, Tia, Annaliese, Lauren B, Kendall, Brittany, Ashley, Marikh, Caroline, Bibiana, Krystal, Becca, and Seinne hope they get to stop and smell the roses.
