Best Friends Animal Society's Phoenix Strut Your Mutt

Best Friends Animal Society will be hosting its annual Strut Your Mutt fundraising event on October 20 at Cesar Chavez Park in an effort to raise money toward saving the lives of homeless pets.

Several local businesses will be providing on-site fundraising support, including Jorel Cook, local franchise owner of Dr.Chem-Dry Carpet & Tile Cleaning, who will be on-site offering treats for pets and children respectively while also donating $5 for every carpet cleaning booked during the event. Each year, Chem-Dry sets a national goal of raising donations for Best Friends Animal Society through a series of community fundraising efforts, including participation in local Strut Your Mutt events nationwide – this year’s goal, $30,000.

This year’s Phoenix Strut Your Mutt event will feature a charity pet parade, product giveaways, doggie yoga, pet portraits, music, contests and more. The festivities will take place from 9am-1pm.
