In recognition of April Pools Day, a month-long initiative focused on promoting water safety ahead of the summer season, American Emergency Response Training (AERT) is offering free CPR training classes throughout April. Designed to equip Arizona locals with life-saving skills, these hands-on sessions cover CPR and essential emergency response techniques for infants, children, and adults. Classes will be held across the Valley at various locations, dates, and times, including weekday, weekend, and evening options, making it easy for individuals and families to participate and feel confident responding in critical situations, especially around water.

FOUND:RE Contemporary

Beginning Friday, May 1 from 1 to 6 p.m., FOUND:RE Contemporary and FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel introduces the all-new “Crafterhours” open studio program, which opens the studio to the public for self-directed painting and crafting sessions. This new concept is designed to foster creativity and artistic exploration within the community.

Participants are invited to explore their artistic interests at their own pace within a relaxed and welcoming environment of the FOUND:RE Contemporary studio. Rather than traditional instructor-led classes, the open-studio format of this program encourages independent creativity and allows artists and hobbyists to experiment with a variety of materials and techniques. Guests can attend individually or with a group, and can use the space in a way that best supports their own personal creative processes.

FOUND:RE Contemporary provides the workspace, but Crafterhours attendees will need to bring their own art or craft supplies to use. THE SHOP at FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel has an array of sketching pencils, pads, art markers and additional supplies available for purchase. Bites and beverages will be available for purchase at MATCH Market &amp; Bar for those who want to snack and sip as they get creative.
Walk-ins are welcome during designated Crafterhours times. Visitors are welcome to stay for any length of time during the open studio hours. is time one again to promote our annual Pond Tours.&nbsp; The tours are hosted
by private homeowners that have ponds in their yards.&nbsp; Many ponds include
water features, sculptures, Koi and other fish.&nbsp; Everyone is invited to
participate and there is no fee.&nbsp; The website will have maps to the ponds
on the tour.&nbsp; The East Valley tours this year will be on Saturday, May 2nd from 9 AM to 4 PM open house style.
