This course is designed for youths with no previous shooting experience and their parents, who may or may not have shot before. Students will have the opportunity to practice the skills learned in class with their parent through dry practice using dummy rounds before moving on to live-fire exercises on our state-of-the-art range. The minimum age to participate is 6 years old, and a parent must accompany each child.
Course Objectives: Universal Firearms Safety, Basic Firearm Operation, Basics of marksmanship, Coach your child in Shooting
Practical Skills: Perform a Safety/Conditions Check, Load/Unload a Magazine, Safely Load/Unload a Firearm, Safely Shoot on the Range
Provided Equipment: Eye and Ear Protection, .22lr Handgun Rental with 25 rounds of Ammunition
