Rookie Christian Kirk, who was accused of disorderly conduct and property damage, is now clear of charges.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Arizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver Christian Kirk was cleared of charges Wednesday by a Scottsdale City Court, according to reports. Kirk faced disorderly conduct and property damage charges after a golf tournament.

The incident was thought to have happened Feb. 3, when Kirk and others were leaving the Waste Management Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale, according to the Bleacher Report. "Security personnel at the course [claimed they] witnessed the group 'throwing rocks at cars and breaking a window of at least one of them.'"

The Cardinals stood behind Kirk, and those who knew him said the charges were baseless, according to an Ian Rapoport tweet.
