Cards Hire Offensive, Defensive, Special Teams Coordinators
With head coach Steve WIlks in place, will now have the help of three veterans.

TEMPE, AZ – The Cards now have three coordinators to go with their new head coach. The team announced Friday that Steve Wilks be joined by offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, defensive coordinator Al Holcomb, and special teams coordinator Jeff Rodgers.
For Rogers, it's a bit of a homecoming. He started his coaching career at the University of Arizona in 2001. He spent the past three years as special teams coordinator for the Chicago Bears.
While some were concerned that, in Wilks, the team hired a man without head coaching experience, they should find some assurance in the hiring of McCoy.

He spent four years as head coach of the Chargers, during which he went 27-37. He did receive high marks for working with quarterback Phil Rivers.
Before taking the Chargers job, McCoy had been the runner-up in Tempe, losing out to Bruce Arians.

He was also the offensive coordinator for the Broncos and – at different times – the wide receivers and quarterbacks coach for the Carolina Panthers.
Holcomb will add a degree of comfort to Wilks. The two spent the past five years in Carolina where Holcomb was linebackers coach. Before that, he was a defensive assistant for the Giants for four seasons.
