Celebrity Poker Tournament Raises Record Amount to Help People with Disabilities

The Stacy Fuson Foundation, a 100% volunteer‐driven nonprofit dedicated to creating avenues for people with disabilities to be active and valued members of the community, hosted its 6th Annual Stacy Fuson Foundation Charity Poker Tournament on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Ability360 Sports & Fitness Center, located at 5031 East Washington Street in Phoenix, Arizona. The event raised a record over $105,000 to help people with disabilities.

“The community came together to help us raise a record amount,” said Stacy Fuson, Founder of the Stacy Fuson Foundation. “We couldn’t be happier. These funds are critical to improving the lives of people with disabilities. We’re going to be able to help so many people with adaptive sports equipment, everyday equipment or financial challenges that arise in the coming year. Thank you to all the generous supporters and donors who believe in our work!”

The evening was full of fun, philanthropy, and community impact, featuring a red-carpet reception, celebrity appearances, dinner, cocktails, poker play, casino games including blackjack, craps, and roulette, and exciting prizes.

A portion of the proceeds benefits adaptive sports and recreation programs at Ability360 — including wheelchair tennis, dragon boating, and outrigger canoeing with at least 25% of event proceeds earmarked for these initiatives. In addition, a portion of the proceeds also will benefit The One Step Closer Foundation (1SCF), a non-profit organization that improves the lives of those suffering from cerebral palsy and various disabilities.

The Stacy Fuson Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that offers financial support to people with disabilities. The 100 percent-volunteer-run organization focuses on assisting the multitude of costs related to a person’s disability, such as medical equipment, physical therapy, specialized living expenses, and access to active community engagement. The organization accepts requests for assistance, which are reviewed and accepted on a case-by-case basis.
