SCOTTSDALE, AZ – A student at Chaparral High School was arrested Thursday after it was discovered he had brought a gun to a school. After it was found in his car, he was arrested.While officials later determined that he did not intend to threaten or shoot anyone, he was still charged with carrying a gun on school grounds.Officials say that 18-year-old Justin Perotti cooperated with police the entire time, allowing them to search his car.They say that given the shooting in Florida on Wednesday, they are being extra cautious.Image via ShutterStock.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – A student at Chaparral High School was arrested Thursday after it was discovered he had brought a gun to a school. After it was found in his car, he was arrested.

While officials later determined that he did not intend to threaten or shoot anyone, he was still charged with carrying a gun on school grounds.Officials say that 18-year-old Justin Perotti cooperated with police the entire time, allowing them to search his car.
