City Of Phoenix Christmas And New Year’s Day Holiday Notice
City offices will also be closed on Friday, Jan. 1, 2020, in observance of New Year's Day.

City of Phoenix offices will close at noon on Thursday, Dec. 24, and will be closed all day on Friday, Dec. 25, in observance of the Christmas holiday. City offices will also be closed on Friday, Jan. 1, 2020, in observance of New Year’s Day.

Solid Waste: Trash and recycling collection for Thursday, Dec. 24 will remain unchanged. There will be no trash and recycling collection on Christmas Day, Friday, Dec. 25. Regular Friday collection will be on Saturday.
Trash and recycling collection will not be collected on New Year’s Day - Friday, Jan. 1. Regular Friday collection will be on Saturday. Please place your trash and recycling containers 4 feet apart at the curb by 5:30 a.m. on that day.
Transfer Stations: The 27th Avenue and North Gateway Transfer Stations will close at noon on Dec. 24, and will be closed all day on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
Public Transit: On Dec. 24, Dial-a-Ride and light rail operate on a weekday schedule and there is no RAPID or Express service. On Dec. 25, the service will operate on a Sunday schedule. Customer Service will be open Dec. 24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed Dec. 25.
On Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve, service will operate on a weekday schedule and on Jan. 1 on a Sunday schedule. Customer Service will be open Dec. 31 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and closed Jan 1.

Library: All Phoenix Public Library locations are closed. Phoenix Public Library book drops remain available with the exception of South Mountain Community Library. For Curbside Service hours on New Year’s Eve, December 31 and accessing library resources 24/7, please visit phoenixpubliclibrary.org.
Parking Meters: All parking meters are enforced 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, including weekends and holidays.
