Coronavirus: Phoenix Grocery Stores To Open Early For Seniors
Three Phoenix area grocery chains will begin opening early every Wednesday for those 65 and older.

Three grocery chains in the Phoenix area have announced plans to offer special shopping hours for senior citizens.
Beginning on Wednesday, March 18, Basha’s, Food City and AJ’s Fine Foods will open early every Wednesday from 5-6 a.m. for shoppers 65 and older. Basha’s reservation locations will open from 6-7 a.m. for those 65 and older.
The announcements come in response to guidance from public health officials advising senior citizens, who are most at risk of serious illness from the coronavirus, to avoid leaving home as much as possible to limit possible exposure.
