Here are the top three stories today in Phoenix:
- On Friday, Dominium, a leading national affordable housing owner, developer, and manager announced the closing of land sales for two new affordable housing communities in Phoenix. The land sales located at 7800 & 7750 West Encanto Boulevard, Aviara Flats and Casa Azure will be Dominium's third and fourth new construction projects in the state of Arizona. The expected net development costs total $203 million. (AZ Big Media)

- According to Phoenix police, a black SUV hit a black sedan head-on early Friday morning. SUV driver, Chad Hunt, 43 was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman driving the black sedan was hospitalized and is in critical condition. Traffic was restricted due to the investigation and police say impairment was not a factor in the crash.
