Tex Earnhardt Continues Loving On Arizona After Death: ICYMI
Philanthropic icon Tex Earnhardt may be gone; however, his family is wasting no time honoring his wishes to help those in need.

PHOENIX, AZ—Arizona automotive mogul, business leader and philanthropic icon Tex Earnhardt may have passed away on Sunday but the Earnhardt family is wasting no time honoring his wishes by giving back to people in need.
“We talked a lot about this in his final days,” sons, Hal and Jim Babe Earnhardt, said. "We’re making sure we follow through on his wishes to give back and take care of as many people as we can, and we’re just getting started.”
On Monday, the Earnhardt family made a $100,000 to St. Mary’s Food Bank. The generosity didn't stop there. The next day, the Earnhardt family visited Child Crisis Center in Mesa and provided organizers with a $75,000 check. On Wednesday, United Food Bank in Mesa received a $25,000 donation from the family. The family says more contributions to deserving charities in the community are on the way.

“Tex loved our community, our people …the people of Arizona and the southwest. He’d come into a room and it’d be brighter with him there. And while he can’t be here now, we’re not going to waste any time making sure that his light shines on those who need it most; especially in these trying times," sons, Hal and Jim Babe Earnhardt, said. “We’re sorry he’s gone and we miss him dearly. But we’re here to make sure we carry on his love for our community… to ensure he lives-on in all of us; and in the mission of Earnhardt Auto Centers to support our people, our communities and those in need.”
According to the Earnhardt family, they have worked to support the communities they serve by helping everyone from the sick and impaired to first responders, teachers, foster children and more—in good times and especially in times of need like right now.
