Glendale 5-Car Crash Leaves 2 Dead; Roads Closed: Reports
A pickup truck smashed in to a sedan around 2:45 a.m. The sedan smashed into an SUV and the truck crashed into two more vehicles Sunday.
GLENDALE, AZ — A horrific five-car crash in Glendale has left two people dead, according to reports. The crash happened around 2:45 a.m. at 91st Avenue and Camelback Road, police said. A westbound pickup truck rear-ended a sedan, which then rear-ended an SUV, according to reports.
The pickup truck then crashed into two more vehicles. Officer Tiffany Smith told AZ Family the drivers of the pickup truck and sedan died at the scene.
Police shut down 91st Avenue and Camelback Road in all directions and asked drivers to use alternative routes through the morning.
