HealthyU Clinics Named Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Phoenix’s 2024 Rookie of the Year

HealthyU Clinics was named the American Cancer Society’s 2024 Rookie of the Year for their participation and commitment to a cure during the 2024 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Phoenix, an event which celebrates courage and hope while uniting communities in the fight against breast cancer.

The HealthyU Clinics team earned the Rookie of the Year award after 61 participants raised at least $3,900 for the 2024 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event in Phoenix. The company also provided support for the event as the 2024 ‘Hands Up for Hope’ Banner sponsor and for their work providing high-quality care advances in the mission to end breast cancer.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Phoenix hosted their 4th Annual Corporate Kickoff Event on June 18, bringing companies from across the Valley together at Becton Dickinson in Tempe to share the event impacts on the community and spread the word about the 2025 event taking place on Oct. 25, 2025.

The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraiser has been unifying communities, companies and individuals in the fight against breast cancer since 1993. The event has become one of the nation’s largest and most impactful breast cancer movements, bringing together more than 40,000 supporters and raising more than $1,000,000 last year.
