Here are the top three stories today in Phoenix:
- Phoenix is no longer in the top three metros in home price growth. The latest list by S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price NSA Index reports that Phoenix is now #4 in the ranking. Tampa and Miami, Florida are in the first two spots with Dallas, Texas securing the #3 spot. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
- Commuters were delayed on Wednesday morning in uptown Phoenix after a water main broke. Water gushed near Central Avenue and Bethany Home Road. Traffic will likely still be impacted this morning. It is not yet clear how many water customers were impacted during the incident. (Arizona's Family)
- State tax incentives have brought two huge movie productions to the Phoenix area. The Arizona Motion Picture Production Program is meant to create a film industry in Arizona. The tax incentive program has been authorized through 2043. The cap starts at $75 million in 2023 and reaches $125 million in 2025. (KTAR.com)
