Hundreds Of Animals Found In Feces, Trash-Filled Gilbert House
An animal rescue group founder walked into the house to see nearly 500 animals, mostly birds, living in filth with no owner around.

GILBERT, AZ — Over 100 animals have been saved from what can only be described as a horrifying hoarding situation in Gilbert. Ashley Fisher, founder of animal rescue group Fancy’s Menagerie at Fisher Farm, got the call to help on Saturday.
"It was just heartbreaking," she said, according to Tucson News Now. "I've been exposed to a lot of hoarding situations, but nothing like this before. We've seen the hoarding shows on TV and I've never seen anything like this before.”
They found nearly 500 animals in the Gilbert house including tons of species of birds, cats and dogs. The house had inches of "filthy trash, feces, I mean, anything you can think of," on the floor, Fisher said.

Fisher says the home is a hazard to the pets' safety as well as anybody living there. The owner is away from the house due to a medical condition, Tucson News Now reported.
Fisher's rescue group doesn't have the resources to save the hundreds of animals still left at the disgusting house. If you want to donate, you can do so through their Facebook page.
