Here are the top three stories today in Phoenix:

  1. An individual was killed after getting struck by a car on I-10 near 7th Avenue. The Arizona Department of Public Safety reports that the individual was hit numerous times after being struck by the first vehicle. The victim's identity has not been released by the department. (Arizona's Family)
  2. Most political signs in Phoenix will be removed by next Wednesday. Arizona law requires losing candidates' signs to be removed within 15 days of a primary election. Stakes and sign poles must also be removed to prevent safety hazards. All signs must be taken down within 15 days of the Nov. 8 General Election. (KTAR.com)
  3. FedEx Freight has added a new facility in Phoenix. The new facility has 218 doors, significantly expanding the FedEx subsidiary's operation capacity. According to the FedEx Freight President and CEO, the new facility will allow the company to better serve its customers in the Phoenix area. They plan to grow capacity over the next few years. (SeekingAlpha)
