I-10 Traffic Moving Slowly After Massive Vehicle Fire
Emergency crews have been working on the fire for over an hour, and traffic is finally moving again, albeit slowly.

PHOENIX, AZ — Lanes are starting to clear after a massive semi truck fire on I-10 by 40th Street, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Traffic has been backed up on both sides of the highway, so it's still a good idea to avoid the area.
A traffic camera shows the massive plume of smoke at around 9:45 a.m. Friday. Traffic is starting to move again on both sides of the highway, but there are still massive delays on the highway.
"We're seeing very long delays in both directions, so it's best to avoid the area and use alternate routes for the next few hours," officials said in a tweet.

Officials shared a map of the traffic, and there's a ton.
Here's how much traffic is backed up after the earlier semi fire at I-10 and 40th Street. Both directions are open, but with the left lanes closed. It could take hours to clean up and to clear the backup. #PhxTraffic pic.twitter.com/jWmhr41lSE
