"Make An Impact” Invitational Sept. 26-27 to benefit RaeRae of Light nonprofit
Youth meet returns with hundreds of gymnasts competing; portion of proceeds to benefit RaeRae of Light
Impact Gymnastics will host the 2026 “Make An Impact” Invitational Sept. 26-27 at Greenway High School in Phoenix, welcoming gymnasts from across the region for a two-day meet benefiting RaeRae of Light, a local nonprofit that supports families affected by congenital heart defects.
Open to Level 2-5 and Xcel athletes, the meet will feature competition on all AAI equipment, with 100% all-around and 50% event awards. Each participant will also receive a GK Leo gymnastics gift.
“We love shining a light on smaller, local nonprofits that don’t always get the recognition they deserve,” said Samantha Baltierrez, co-owner of Impact Gymnastics. “RaeRae of Light is doing incredible work for families right here in our own community, and we wanted this event to help amplify that.”

RaeRae of Light was founded in 2020 in memory of Reagan, who was born with a congenital heart defect and died at 6 months old. The Phoenix-based nonprofit provides financial assistance and raises awareness for families affected by CHD.
“Being chosen for this event means more than dollars raised,” said Amy Norris, co-founder and executive director of RaeRae of Light. “It tells our family that Reagan’s story matters, that people see the work we’re doing in her name, and that we’re not carrying this mission alone.”

The event is directed by Samantha Baltierrez, her husband and co-owner, Ozzie Baltierrez and sister and General Manager, Gabby Anderson. Sponsor opportunities are available.

About Impact Gymnastics
Impact Gymnastics is a Phoenix-based gymnastics facility owned by Samantha and Ozzie Baltierrez, serving more than 1,000 students ages 6 months to 18 years old. The gym offers recreational and competitive gymnastics, Ninja Zone, tumbling for cheer, camps, birthday parties, and private lessons for children with special needs and homeschoolers. In 2026, Impact Gymnastics expanded with a second location, Impact Gymnastics - Arrowhead, at 8154 W. Bell Rd. in Glendale.
