Man Follows Teen Girl Into Bathroom, Father Kills Him: Police
The man is believed to have tried to get into a teen girl's bathroom stall. The girl's father allegedly beat him to death for it.

PHOENIX, AZ — A man who attempted to enter a teenage girl's bathroom stall was killed by the girl's' father, according to a report. Melvin Harris, 40, is now facing a murder charge after allegedly causing fatal injuries to the man.
Harris was picking up his teenage daughter and friends from the QuikTrip by Dunlap and 19th around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2. A man walked up to his car to ask for money, and Harris gave him some, ABC15 reports.
The man then walked into the store and attempted to enter the bathroom stall Harris' daughter was in, according to the report. She told an employee who told a security guard, and the man exited the QuikTrip.

Once Harris found out what had happened, the report said, he entered the store and told the security guard he needed to take care of the situation, or he himself would. The guard said he would handle it.
Harris later walked up to the man and punched him in the face, according to ABC15. The victim fell to the ground, and witnesses told police Harris was standing over him, kicking and stomping him. Harris later denied hitting the man while he was down.

After the incident, Harris went home, where police later found him. He told police the man had started the altercation by punching him in the neck, the report said.
The victim was was alive when he was taken to the hospital with brain injuries among others, and later died.
Harris is set to be arraigned on Aug. 17.
