Man Killed In Central Phoenix Shooting Identified By Police
Phoenix detectives are investigating a fatal shooting and asking anyone with information to call Silent Witness.
PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix police are investigating an early morning shooting in central Phoenix that left one man dead earlier this week.
Officers responded around 12:40 a.m. on Monday to the area of 1500 East Colter Street, near 16th Street and Camelback Road, and found a man with a gunshot wound to the torso.
He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to Sergeant John Buchanan.

Police later identified the victim as Donald Mucheck, 58.
No suspect has been identified and no one is in custody, according to police. Investigators have not released details about a possible motive or what led up to the shooting.
