Maricopa County Sheriff Rescues 25 Animals, Seek Owner
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says that after being evicted, Juli Soave left 23 cats and two dogs abandoned in the home.

SURPRISE, AZ – The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office wants to talk with Juli Soave. They say that after she was evicted from her home on West Dynamite Road she left behind filthy conditions and 25 animals that needed to be rescued.
When detectives from the animal crimes unit responded to the home, they could "smell an overwhelming odor of feces," according to the sheriff's office.
As a result they had to wear protective gear and masks to tolerate the smell.

They discovered large piles of feces and animal urine as well as 23 cats and two dogs.
They were brought to Palm Glenn Animal Hospital for veterinary care.

When Soave is found, the sheriff's office says that she will face charges of abandonment,
inadequate shelter and lack of medical care.
