PHOENIX, AZ — Mobile Mini Inc., a portable storage company, disappointed investors Friday when it reported third-quarter net income of $11.2 million.
On a per-share basis, the Phoenix-based company said it had profit of 25 cents. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs, were 27 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 33 cents per share.

The company posted revenue of $136.6 million in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $134.4 million.
Mobile Mini shares have climbed slightly more than 9 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 15 percent in the last 12 months.
