Here are the top 3 stories today in Phoenix:

  1. The Neighborhood Vista project was accomplished through a collaboration between the city of Phoenix Water Services and the Office of the Arts + Culture. Together they transformed "a previously inaccessible lot into an engaging sculpture garden at 63rd Avenue and Osborn Road." The lot actually used to be the former well site, Well Site 156. With the help of local artist Jeff Zischke, the site was able to transform into a storytelling space for the community. (Daily Independent)
  2. Did you know that Free Comic Book Day is coming to Phoenix? It's true! Drawn to Comics, a comic book shop in Glendale, and several other shops in the area are hosting a Free Comic Book Day Festival! Each person who attends the festival will have the opportunity to go home with two free comics. For more details, please check out the full article. (Phoenix Patch)
  3. Are you looking for some fun concerts to attend this May? If so, Phoenix New Times has got you covered! They have compiled a list of artists that you need to check out this month. Russ, an Atlanta-based rapper, will be performing at Mesa Amphitheater as a part of his The Journey is Everything Tour. You may recognize him from his most popular songs "What They Want" and "Losin' Control." For a full list of concerts, please check out the post. (Phoenix New Times)
