🌱 Will The Valley See Rain? + Phoenix Shave Ice Spots + Home Listings

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Phoenix.

(Patch Media)

Hey, neighbors. It's Wednesday in Phoenix and I'm back in your inbox with everything you need to know about what's happening locally. I'll get right to it.

First, today's weather:

Times of clouds and sun. High: 106 Low: 88.

Here are the top 3 stories in Phoenix today:

  1. With Monsoon 2022 ramping up, Phoenix residents may be wondering: will the Valley get rain? According to Royal Norman, 3TV's chief meteorologist, there's a "decent window" for precipitation between Thursday and Friday night. Norman emphasized that rainfall amounts "aren't going to be super big," but "you may get a nice downpour at your house sometime between now and Monday." (AZ Family)
  2. Are you looking for some new and great places to get shave ice? Phoenix New Times has got you covered, and it's just in time for the summer. Lylo Swim Club has a great pineapple shave ice topped "with caramelized pineapple chunks, condensed milk, house-made Chamoy, togarashi, and Tajín, the flavor is all Goldilocks: a little bit fruity, spicy, sweet, creamy, and just the right amount of tropical and refreshing." For a full list of recommendations, please check out the full article! (Phoenix New Times)
  3. Are you looking to find a new home in the Phoenix area? Patch and Redfin have got you covered. They have compiled a list of the best new homes on the market so you don't have to! There is a beautiful 2,501-square-foot home with three beds and three and a half baths that you have to check out. For the full list, please read the full article. (Phoenix Patch)
