Phoenix Celebrating The 100 Year Anniversary Of 19 Amendment

In 1912, the same year that Arizona became a state, Arizona joined nine other states and territories in granting women voting rights.

On August 26, 1920, the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution, which established that no citizen could be denied the right to vote based on sex, became law throughout the United States.

Remember, your vote is your voice. Don’t forget to cast your ballot for the upcoming November 3, 2020 Election!
