📢 I'm looking for business owners and marketers in Phoenix who want to build awareness, connect with customers and increase sales.
I have a limited number of sponsorships available to introduce our Phoenix Daily readers to local businesses they need to know about. If that's you, then I invite you to learn more and secure your spot now.
Here are the top stories in Phoenix today:
1) Johnny Depp is coming to Phoenix in November! He'll join Jeff Beck on stage at Beck's fall concert.
The duo will perform at the Celebrity Theatre on Tuesday, November 1.
2) In a historic mass, the Diocese of Phoenix will honor those who have died by suicide.
The mass will be held at 9am on Sunday, September 4th, at Saints Simon and Jude Cathedral. "If you feel shame or even guilt for the loss of a loved one by suicide. If this is a reality in your life. I want you to know that the church is here for you," Bishop Dolan said.
3) As rents become more and more unaffordable for many residents, Phoenix has 'fully exhausted' rental assistance.
"A thousand people a month are filling out applications needing help with their rent in the City of Phoenix. But the city has run out of rental assistance funds." Other agencies are now stepping in to help.
4) Tempe cracks down on homeless camping out at the Salt River beds; offers ongoing homeless outreach and resources.
"The health hazards in the river bottom are significant," said Paul Bentley, the deputy human services director for the city.
5) Last weekend to catch the Frida Kahlo art exhibit, and more arts and culture events this weekend.
Check out this round-up of top three things to do this weekend in the arts and culture space.
