Phoenix Highway Traffic Snarled By Two Small Dogs

Two small dogs on I17 brought traffic to a standstill for nearly a half hour on Wednesday.

PHOENIX, AZ – You're traveling on the highway. You see the HOV lane and common sense tells you that you can't be alone in the lane.

That didn't stop a small dog from running in the HOV lane on I-17 around lunchtime on Wednesday.

The dog – along with another – snarled traffic for around 20 minutes as they ran free.

Eventually, the dogs were collared and traffic returned to normal.

It's not yet known how the dogs got on the highway.

No word yet if the one dog received a ticket for traveling in the HOV lane.
